Horse tack cleaning service?

So, I'm looking to make some extra money to help fuel my equine addiction. (: I'm thinking about starting a little tack cleaning service and I want some opinions. What pieces of tack would you definitely pay for to have cleaned? How much would you pay? I would give a 10-15% discount on large orders. Here's an idea of what I'd be doing:

Bridles-
*take apart
*clean w/ wet rag, saddle soap and/or conditioner
*use toothbrush to detail
*soak bit in hot water, clean with bit wipes
*silver wipes for silver details on bridle
*reassemble

Saddles-
*stirrups included
*clean w/ wet rag, saddle soap and/or conditioner
*toothbrush to detail
*silver wipes for details and stirrups
*scrub and soak stirrup pads

So, obviously, I'm talking about a pretty thorough cleaning. And I would be using quality cleaners as well (Lexol, Linda's Miracle Soap, etc.). So, what do you all think? (:

have you ever done this before?

it's VERY time consuming.

one set of tack is fine. but when you're talking about 10 bridles....english especially with all the parts to it.....detailing each and every one to the satisfaction of the customer....takes time.

if you're still set on doing it....then figure out how much money it'll take for you to want to take the time to do it.....and figure expenses......all the cleaning stuff and traveling to the barns.....

hit up the training and show barns....they will have more money and more need for you than trail barns.

as for cost....figure you will want repeat customers...so you can't be too expensive. some people might want it done once a day, or once a week, or once a month.....charge accordingly.
