Endurance saddle bars?
I have 2 TB's I am trying to fit a saddle for trail riding. I have tried numerous western son and fell in love with one but it had pressure points at the gullet and flared out from their shoulders. I tried the Big Horn Endurance Flex Tree # 807 on them. Seems to fit wonderfully. This saddle is on 'endurance bars'. Not semi QH or QH. So it seems the endurance bars fit my horses best. Are there any western saddles mad with endurance bars? I am almost afraid to order a saddle b/c if it doesn't fit I am stuck with all shipping charges. The big horn I have now is on trial from the local tack store.
Well im not sure about the saddle bars, But i also have many TB's that we rescue from the track and turn into pleasure horses... and Like you probley know, there backs are BONey and there whithers are high. Its best to go to a local tack store and ask them if you can rent out one of the saddles in the store, or tell them you are interested in one and you want to see if it fits your horse, theyll most likely let you take it home (you may have to put a deposite on it) and see if it fits. Thats what I do. And if you cant possibly find one, Double up on saddle pads, HOPE THIS HELPS, Abby
